ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 24, (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಾರ್ತೆ) : ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲ ಶ್ರೀ ಥಾವರ್‌ಚಂದ್ ಗೆಹ್ಲೋಟ್ ಅವರು ಪಹಲ್ಗಾಮ್ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ದಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮತ್ತಿಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭರತ್ ಭೂಷಣ್ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಭರತ್ ಭೂಷಣ್ ಅವರ ಪಾರ್ಥೀವ ಶರೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಗೌರವ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಭರತ್ ಪತ್ನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಹೇಳಿ ಧೈರ್ಯ ತುಂಬಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಭರತ್ ಭೂಷಣ್ ಅವರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಯಿಂದ ಘಟನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದರು.

ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಜಮ್ಮು- ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಪಹಲ್ಗಾಮ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗ್ರರ ದಾಳಿ ಖಂಡನೀಯ. ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಪವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಂತಹ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಆಗದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ‌. ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದೆ. ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕದಂತೆ ಉಗ್ರರು, ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಾರತ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ. ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನೆಟ್ ಕಮಿಟಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕೆಲ ಕಠಿಣ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಲಿವೆ.

ಇಂದು ಸರ್ವಪಕ್ಷ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳೂ ಕಠಿಣ ನಡೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಯ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಜಮ್ಮು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದಿಂದ ವಾಪಸ್ ಕರೆತರುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಶ್ರೀನಗರ ಮತ್ತು ಜಮ್ಮು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಜನತೆಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಈ ನಡೆ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

Pahalgam Terror Attack: Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot Pays Last Respects to Bharat Bhushan

The Honorable Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, today visited the residence of Bharat Bhushan in Mattikere, Bengaluru, to pay his final respects. Bharat Bhushan tragically lost his life in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The Governor offered his condolences and words of solace to the grieving family, expressing solidarity during their time of immense loss. He also interacted with family members to understand the details surrounding the incident.

In a statement following his visit, Governor Gehlot strongly condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam and emphasized that the Government of India is treating the incident with utmost seriousness. “Such heinous acts must not be tolerated. I am confident that India will give a fitting response to those responsible for this cowardly act.”

He also informed the media that an all-party meeting is scheduled for today, where strong measures are expected to be demanded across party lines. “The Indian government will not let this tragedy go unanswered,” the Governor affirmed.

Governor Gehlot lauded the proactive efforts of the Karnataka state government in facilitating the safe return of tourists stranded in Jammu and Kashmir, calling the swift rescue operations “commendable and deeply appreciated.”
