 IIHMR Bangalore Celebrates 20th Foundation Day with Grand Event

IIHMR Bangalore marked its 20th Foundation Day with a grand celebration on the 8th of March 2025, bringing together esteemed dignitaries, faculty, alumni, and students. Program launches aimed at strengthening the institute's role in healthcare management education.

The evening began with a ceremonial lamp lighting at 6:45 PM. A graceful welcome dance by set the tone for the evening, followed by a welcome note by Dr. Sarala. Dr. Usha Manjunath, Director of IIHMR - B took the stage to deliver the inaugural address, where she reflected on the rich history of IIHMR Bangalore and its contribution to healthcare management. 

A key highlight of the evening was the announcement of a first of its kind Post Graduate Certificate in Pre Hospital Care Program in collaboration with Red Health, featuring a virtual address from Red Health’s Chief Academic Officer. Additionally, the college announced ‘Prayojn,’ an innovative patient management program aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and efficiency by understanding the work load of healthcare employees. Dr. Usha also inaugurated a patient portal in collaboration with Herat Health India Foundation. 

Cultural performances added vibrancy to the celebration, including a Women’s Day-themed act by the Community Club of IIHMR - B. The event concluded with addresses by Dr. SD Gupta and Mr. Rammilan Shukla, who emphasized the institute’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and healthcare innovation. Dr. Upendra from Hindu Medium also contributed valuable insights to the discussion.

The 20th Foundation Day of IIHMR Bangalore was a momentous occasion, celebrating two decades of excellence in healthcare management education and reinforcing the institution’s vision for the future.
