Hon'ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Dinesh Gundu Rao, congratulated Vasavi Hospitals for their commitment to societal health and well-being by introducing advanced medical equipment. During the inauguration of the 3-Tesla MRI machine and 128-Slice CT Scanner on Wednesday, Mr. Rao expressed his delight in unveiling these state-of-the-art facilities. He lauded Vasavi's service-driven approach, which prioritizes the welfare of society over profit, and committed to providing all necessary support to the hospital. He said, "The rapid advancements in medical technology, which are crucial for addressing critical health issues, particularly as our population ages and lifestyle-related heart ailments increase. Thanks to improved nutrition and healthcare, the average lifespan has nearly doubled from 32 years at independence to 70 years today, with the potential to reach 80 to 85 years in the coming decades."

Mr. B. Ramesh Babu, MD and CEO of Karur Vysya Bank, also inaugurated the Mako Robotic Equipment for joint replacement surgeries at Vasavi Hospital.
