 Film and TV artistes have come together to participate in the highly anticipated Appu Cup Season 2 cricket tournament, which began on Friday. The grand event was inaugurated by Ms Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Dr. Divya Rangenahalli, Founder and CEO of Media Connect, Sunitha Gowda, Founder and Chairperson of DPIS, and renowned producer Sa Ra Govindu.

Building on the success of the first season, the organizers launched this season with the blessings of Puneeth Rajkumar. Many artistes have taken time out of their busy schedules to join in, not just playing for fun but showcasing their skills like professionals. Unlike their usual roles in entertaining others, this tournament serves as a self-motivating platform for artistes to explore and reveal their hidden talents. The event features 10 teams, with 24 matches set to be played, promising an exciting season ahead.
