Through the Arya Vysya Corporation, loans and financial aid were provided to 800 beneficiaries under various schemes for small entrepreneurs last year, 2023-24. This year, these schemes will continue, and in the meeting held today, the annual action plan for 2024-25 was discussed and approved.
Eligible small entrepreneurs in need of the Corporation's assistance should apply in large numbers and take advantage of this opportunity.

Approval for Arya Vysya Corporation Annual Action Plan:
Applications for three schemes under the Karnataka Arya Vysya Community Development Corporation—1) Self-Employment Direct Loan Scheme, 2) Arya Vysya Food Trucks Scheme/Vehicle Scheme in collaboration with banks, and 3) Vasavi Jalashakti Scheme—must be submitted online from 12.07.2024. Self-Employment Direct Loan Scheme:
This year, the Karnataka Arya Vysya Community Development Corporation is providing loans and financial aid of Rs. 1 lakh under the Self-Employment Direct Loan Scheme for undertaking business activities. Of this, Rs. 20,000 will be a Subsidy and the remaining amount will be provided at an interest rate of 4%.
In response to long-standing demands, the age limit for this scheme has been increased from 45 to 55 years. Beneficiaries of the 2019/20 and 2020/21 financial years who have repaid their loans within the stipulated time can apply again this year.
Arya Vysya Food Trucks Scheme / Vehicle Scheme:
This year, the Arya Vysya Commercial Vehicle Scheme has been implemented, allowing candidates to purchase yellow-board autos, trucks, cars, etc. Applicants can take loans from any bank, and the Corporation will provide a subsidy of up to Rs. 1 lakh. Additionally, if applicants convert the vehicle into a mobile canteen by fabricating it, an additional subsidy of Rs. 1 lakh will be provided.
Vasavi Jalashakti Scheme:
The Vasavi Jalashakti Scheme has been initiated to provide irrigation facilities for agricultural activities to small farmers. Farmers must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 15 acres of land, and the age limit has been increased from 50 to 55 years this time. Under this scheme, a loan of Rs. 2 lakh at an interest rate of 4% and a subsidy of Rs. 50,000 for electrification will be provided.
