A mega Tree Planting event held on 22nd July 2024 at Ayodhya

Adamya Chetana is a non-profit social organisation headquartered in Bengaluru and working nationally in the fields of Anna-Akshar-Arogya-Nature-Culture. We have been providing midday meals to over 1,60,000 school children everyday across 4 locations in the country and have so far delivered more than 56 crore hot-tasty-nutritious meals to the school children.

In order to propagate environmental awareness to contain climate change, we have been planting and nurturing trees every week since last 445+ consecutive weeks with participation of large number of educational institutions, corporates, Residents and general public.

 

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that we had organized a mega tree-planting activity at Ayodhya on July 22, 2024 (Monday), where we have planted 300 saplings of ‘Sita-Ashoka’, Shim Shipa and Noni trees.

                                

This mega Tree Plantation event was held at two venues - Composite School Campus, Dabha Semar and at Dr RamManohar Lohia Avadh University – IET campus. To participate in the event, more than 80 volunteers from different parts of the country mainly from Karnataka and Kerala travelled to Ayodhya. The events were graced by Former minister & MP Shri Lallu Singh, Shri Gopal ji of Shree Ramjanmbhumi Tirthkshetra Nyas, Prof PV Krishna Bhat, noted educationist & former national president of ABVP, VC of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University  Dr Pratibha Goyal, Director of IET Dr S S Mishra, Dr Sumita Singh director Statistics Agri & Crop Insurance, UP state, Shri. Dilip Ram Tripathi, Principal of Composite school, DFO Shri Pranav Jain, IFS, Shri Sanjiv Rai and Dr Tejaswini Ananthkumar, Chairperson of Adamya Chetana and Chairperson of board of Governors IIEST, WB and many students and faculty of colleges.
