Meeting of FKCCI delegation with Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon’ble Vice President of India.

Shri Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, President, FKCCI had a meeting with Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon’ble Vice President of India at Bengaluru along with Shri M G Balakrishna, Sr. Vice President,  Shri K Ramaswamy, Past President, Shri Keerthan Kumar, Chairman, MANTHAN Committee, Shri B A Abishek, Chairman, Skill Development Committee, FKCCI  and Shri Lehar Singh Siroya, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha.
The President extended an invitation to Hon'ble Vice President of India to be the Chief Guest for the 16th Edition of FKCCI’s Flagship Event MANTHAN 2024 at Sir M V Auditorium, FKCCI, K G Road, Bengaluru during July 2024. The President explained to Vice President of India about the flagship event which was instituted in the year 2009 and was inaugurated by Former President of India Late Dr. A PJ Abdul Kalam Ji and also about FKCCI’s Skill Development Training being imparted to the University students at FKCCI.

MANTHAN encourages the young college students to become a successful entrepreneur in creating start-ups and to boost the Indian economy.
The Business Plan presentation by the student community has progressed with the participation of students from 190 plus colleges and universities in the state. This is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) and we are aiming to create Young Entrepreneurs for National Building through this MANTHAN program.
MANTHAN encourages the young college students to be a successful entrepreneur in their own right by creating start-ups and boost the Indian Economy. The student teams are trained, their proposals are evaluated and the best innovative technically feasible, commercially viable and implementable business plans will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs.10 Lakhs.
Hon'ble Vice President of India readily accepted the invitation and appreciated FKCCI’s efforts in creating young entrepreneurs to become job providers instead of job seekers and suggested to conduct many such programs especially the skill development programs being conducted by FKCCI.
