Actress Anu Prabhakar launches Rainbow Children's Hospital Bloom Clinic
It was a special women's day programme at Rainbow Children's Hospital (the dedicated women and child care hospital) where women achievers were honoured for their accomplishments to the society and making a mark in their respective fields. The management of Rainbow Children's Hospital felicitated Ms. Anu Prabhakar (Cine Star), Ms Bharati BL (International Athlete, Vice President of Karnataka Athletic Association), Dr Susheela Venkataraman (Director on the board of NGOs, SGBS Unnati Foundation, Arogya World India & IIT Alumni Centre) and Ms. Anitha (Senior Director, Mfine). The women achievers thanked the Rainbow Children's Hospital management for the honour and said that Rainbow Children's Hospital was always in the forefront of recognising women power.
Bloom - Grow Right is a dedicated adolescent gynecology clinic
Meanwhile, in a unique initiative, Birthright by Rainbow Children's Hospital, Marathahalli is now launching a dedicated clinic. "Bloom - Grow Right" is a first of its kind adolescent gynecology clinic that will provide much-needed care and treatment for our teenage daughters. The clinic was launched by well-known actress Ms Anu Prabhakar. Speaking on the occasion, Ms Anu Prabhakar said, "I strongly believe that this clinic will provide the best treatment and a tailored family-centered care for a range of female reproductive health concerns, from infancy through adolescence and into adulthood. It will also give special consideration to the physical and emotional needs of young girls and provide support in their transition from pediatric care to gynecologic care. Being a woman, I feel that this clinic is the need of the hour."
Explaining further, Speaking on the occasion, Dr Praveena Shenoi (Senior Consultant – Obstetrics and Gynecology) said, "Bloom - Grow Right is an adolescent gynecology clinic that will provide much-needed care and treatment for our teenage daughters. We are confident that with your patronage, the clinic will be a great success. This clinic will be helpful for parents of a girl child who are confused on choosing the right specialist for various concerns related to her puberty or gynecological issues.
" Dr. Mounica Reddy (Pediatric & Adolescent Endocrinology Specialist, Rainbow Children's Hospital, Marathahalli) added that the clinic will have a multidisciplinary team constituting gynecologist, pediatric endocrinologist, pediatric urologist, dermatologist and other specialties.
